Summer youth camp

The details:

The Sherman Police Summer Youth Camp is a FREE educational program designed to allow our area youth to become more familiar with the many functions of the Sherman Police Department. Sherman Police Officers will instruct classes that include hands-on activities, role-playing, and demonstrations in the areas of patrol, evidence collection, building clearing, K-9s, traffic stops, and many other public safety related topics!

This summer, SPD will offer two separate camps, one for Middle School students and one for High School students. If your student is going into Middle School, they would be eligible for that camp. Likewise, if your student is going into High School, they would be eligible for that camp.

Both camps will be held at the Sherman Police Department.

When is it?

Middle School - June 23-27, 2025 from Noon to 4pm

High School - July 7-11, 2025 from Noon to 4pm

Who Can Attend?

Students entering or currently enrolled in either Middle School or High School. To ensure a fun and educational experience for all, we are placing a limit on the number of attendants for each class.
